"Let me introduce myself.

 

My name is Kerry.

The Claire comes from my middle name. Named after my beloved nanna.

I'm based in Northampton, but I cover Northamptonshire and the surrounding counties.

I started this journey of mine with a level 2 diploma in women's hairdressing back in 2010.

I fell pregnant with my second daughter and went back to college in 2012 to get my level 3 diploma.

From there, I worked at a fabulous local photostudio; alongside the talented Tina B Beauty offering hair and makeup for their themed vintage shoots, hen parties, prom makeovers & birthday pamper days.

My first bridal booking was 6 years ago, thanks to a lovely colleague who took a chance on me, and I have been hooked ever since! Weddings are so magical, and I adore being able to provide a service that is so meaningful and rewarding. I feel totally blessed to be part of each and every one of my brides' special day.

Since then, I have worked in almost every area of the industry, providing hair and makeup for commercial, editorial, fashion, beauty, catwalks, tv/film, photoshoots, and have even worked on various beauty counters such as; Chanel, MAC, Bobbi Brown, Estee lauder, Clinique, Laura Mercier, Guerlain and Liz earle.

After covid, I decided I was going to take the plunge and become an exclusive hair and makeup artist and so I upskilled and attained my makeup diploma and have proudly built my little business from the ground up.

 

I have had my work published in various magazines, both nationally and internationally, and have also won quite a number of challenges and awards for my makeup artisty with the amazing academy Girl Meets Brush.

Continual education is extremely important to me in order to keep up with the latest trends and be on top of my game. There is always something new (or old )to learn, and I love mastering a new technique or skill.

 

Product testing is another passion I adore. With so many new products being released, I like to be informed, and I test as many as possible so that I can continue to provide the very best for my kit and my clients.​

I treat everyone as the individual they are and always take into account individual characteristics, such as face shape, skin type, tones and undertones. But most importantly, PERSONALTY! I pride myself on understanding and delivering a brief, idea or concept and really enjoy working with other creatives.
